This morning I received several notifications in Russian in my email. When I tried to log in, my password was rejected. I changed the password, and my IP address was banned. I'm a politics junkie, so I was watched the electoral college ceremony when the insurrection started. It was incredible. I don't have to words to describe it, but I kept thinking about the police gassing protestors and forcing them back so Hair Furor could walk to a nearby church for a ridiculous photo op. So, once again, I’m tempted to write in another fandom. Over the years I’ve written fanfic for “Supernatural”, “House MD”, “Swiss Army Man” and on, a challenge, for “Dragnet”. LJ isn't correcting my spelling in visual editor!  If I flip it to HTML, I can see the misspellings.  This only started recently.  When I type anywhere else in LJ--another comm, comments--the misspellings show up.

Is there a setting I'm missing? Does anyone else have this problem?

ETA:  LJ reports it as a known problem.  Jesus Christ.
